Quick Update

I only made it to plat 8 last month playing a version of  Skeli Mage.  I've pick up a new game that I have on my phone, Magic Spellslingers.  I found out later that Spellslingers is also out on steam.  It's from the creators of Magic the Gathering and has similar elements to the game.  It's like hearthstone but it stays true to its roots with its combat style.  Unlike hearthstone and other games like it where you choose your attacking targets, taunt minions permitting, in Spellslingers you assign which minions attack and then your oppenent chooses to block or not.  This different combat style allows for unique keywords like flying and sneak.  Flying creatures can only be blocked by other creature with flying or the keyword reach.  Reach gives creatures the ability to block creatures with flying without giving them the offensive ability flying creatures have to go above other creatures to hit the face.   Sneak allows creatures their first attack where there are available blockers to be unblockable.  Afterwards, those creatures lose sneak and is like any other plain creature.

This game has plenty of daily and weekly quests to allow grinding for cards to feel good.  There are also events in which to compete for rewards.  The first entry is generally free and after you can buy for additional tries.  As you gain more cards, you unlock more spellslingers, otherwise known as plainwalkers in the mtg universe.  I've grinded to diamond rank, 1500 mmr (match making rank).  At 2000 mmr you're granted rank of mystic; the highest rank like unto legendary of hearthstone.  Since I've last posted my desire to rank up and learn in hearthstone has weaned.  I'm just having fun at the moment learning a new game.  Stay tuned for daily updates about games I noob it up in.
